Mona Lisa (also known as La Gioconda) is a 16th century portrait painted in oil on a poplar panel by Leonardo da Vinci during the Italian Renaissance. The work is owned by the Government of France and is on the wall in the Louvre in Paris, France with the title Portrait of Lisa Gherardini, wife of Francesco del Giocondo. It is perhaps the most famous painting in the world.
The painting is a half-length portrait and depicts a woman whose expression is often described as enigmatic. The ambiguity of the sitter's expression, the monumentality of the half-figure composition, and the subtle modeling of forms and atmospheric illusionism were novel qualities that have contributed to the painting's continuing fascination. It is probably the most famous painting that has ever been stolen from the Louvre and recovered. Few other works of art have been subject to as much scrutiny, study, mythologizing, and parody.
The Louvre, the biggest art museum in the world, has thousands of paintings, but its star attraction is the Mona Lisa, known in France as La Joconde.
The 500-year-old portrait was stolen in 1911, but returned to the Louvre after an Italian was arrested for its theft two years later.
It was doused with acid by a vandal in 1956 and later the same year a Bolivian damaged it again by throwing a stone at it.

Why Flamingos Stand on One Leg....

It is one of the simplest, but most enigmatic mysteries of nature: just why do flamingoes like to stand on one leg?
Flamingoes stand on one leg to regulate their body temperature.
Matthew Anderson and Sarah Williams are comparative psychologists based at Saint Joseph's University in Philadelphia, US who are interested in the studying the evolution of behaviour.
"Flamingoes captured my attention for a variety of reasons," says Anderson.
"Scientifically speaking, their highly gregarious nature makes them an ideal species for investigating social influences on behaviour.
"Aesthetically speaking, they are large, beautiful, and iconic.
Anderson and Williams's research began by studying laterality in flamingoes: whether they show any preference over which side of their bodies they use for various tasks, just as a human may be right or left-handed.
They found that flamingoes prefer to rest with their heads on one side more than the other, and that which side a flamingo rests its head determines how aggressive it is toward others in the flock.
However, the researchers did find that flamingoes prefer to stand on one leg far more often when they are standing in water than when standing on land, they report in the journal Zoo Biology. The scientists ruled out each as a benefit of standing on one leg, as their research showed it took flamingoes longer, and therefore more energy, to move forward after resting on one leg than after resting on two.
"As water invariably draws away more body heat, this result supports the thermoregulation hypothesis," says Anderson.
In short, the birds stand on one leg to conserve body heat. If they put two legs in the water, rather than one, they would lose more heat than is healthy, particularly as they spend so much time wading. The birds also likely alternate which leg they stand on to avoid one leg becoming too cold.

"If they stood on one leg consistently, they would risk greater loss of body heat and potential tissue damage in the cold," says Anderson.

Kundasang War Memorial

Kundasang War Memorial and Gardens is Located behind the famous vegetable wholesale stalls .It is situated on the hill resembling a fort.

Before I return to East Malaysia form Sabah, after 4 memorable year of studying me and my friend tao Iong Aka “TAO FU” rented a Perodua Kelisa and drag our butts up to Kundasang for a photo taking trip as my friend just bought himself a new Cannon SLR camera. So on the way there were a lot of photo taking up and down keke etc……then we came to this place the Kundasing War Memorial.

Major G.S. Carter, D.S.O. (Toby Carter) a New Zealander employed with Shell Oil Co. (Borneo) initiated the building of the Memorial in 1962, together with the launching of Kinabalu Park; to remember the 2,428 Australian and British prisoners who died during the World War II at the Sandakan POW Camp, and the casualties of the 3 infamous forced death marches i.e. Sandakan-Ranau Death March from Sandakan to Ranau. On top of that, it is also a tribute to the many locals who risked their lives while releasing the prisoners of war.

Only 6 Australians recorded survived in this tragedy to tell their horror and no English survivors were recorded. The 'fort-like' Memorial was designed by a local architect by the name of J.C. Robinson.

The 'fort-like' Memorial was designed by a local architect by the name of J.C. Robinson. It has 4 interlocking but separate gardens to represent the homelands of those who has died: an Australian Garden, a formal English Garden of roses, a Borneo Garden (on the oic on the left)with wild flowers of Kinabalu and at the top level is the 'Comtemplation Garden' with a reflection pool and pergola.

To commemorate the 60th anniversary of the end of World War II, the Memorial was beautifully restored in 2005 privately by Mr Sevee Charuruks & with funding provided by the Malaysian Government.

The Gardens are replanted with flowers, particularly roses and rare orchids that include the much sought after valuable Paphiopedilum rothschildianum Rothschild's slipper orchids. The memorial is open to local and foreign visitors not only to view the perfect gardens but to remember those who sacrificed their lives for the Freedom of others.

Steal in a formal way...

After 10 years of selfless service, a man realized that he has not been promoted, no transfer, no salary increase no recommendation and that the Company is not doing any thing about it.
So he decided to walk up to his HR Manager one morning and after exchanging greetings, he told his HR Manager his observation. The boss looked at him, laughed and asked him to sit down saying;
My friend, you have not worked here for even one day.The man was surprised to hear this, but the manager went on to explain.

Manager:- How many days are there in a year?
Man:- 365 days and some times 366

Manager:- how many hours make up a day?
Man:- 24 hours

Manager:- How long do you work in a day?
Man:- 8am to 4pm. i.e. 8 hours a day.

Manager:- S! o, what fraction of the day do you work in hours?
Man:- (He did some arithmetic and said 8/24 hours i.e. 1/3(one third)

Manager:- That is nice of you! What is one-third of 366 days?
Man:- 122 (1/3x366 = 122 in days)

Manager:- Do you come to work on weekends?
Man:- No sir

Manager:- How many days are there in a year that are weekends?
Man:- 52 Saturdays and 52 Sundays equals to 104 days

Manager:- Thanks for that. If you remove 104 days from 122 days, how many days do you now have?
Man:- 18 days.

Manager:- OK! I do give you 2 weeks sick leave every year. Now remove that14 days from the 18 days left. How many days do you have remaining?
Man:- 4 days

Manager:- Do you work on New Year day?
Man:- No sir!

Manager! :- Do you come to work on workers day?
Man:- No sir!

Manager:- So how many days are left?
Man:- 2 days sir!

Manager:- Do you come to work on the (National holiday )?
Man:- No sir!

Manager:- So how many days are left?
Man:- 1 day sir!

Manager:- Do you work on Christmas day?
Man:- No sir!

Manager:- So how many days are left?
Man:- None sir!

Manager:- So, what are you claiming?
Man:- I have understood, Sir. I did not realize thatI was stealing Company money all these days coz i dint work but i stil get my pay...!

Peculiar Chicken Behavior.....

This is definately one rare sight that we do not often come across.....a chicken, a.k.a cock, having its attention being fixated at its very own reflection. It was literally staring, as though it was being sucked into its own reflection, or maybe, to some extend, sort of arouses its very own curiosity (also mine) of what it saw at that very point of time.

After that peculiar encounter, I had another revelation to what we may not know about chickens and how they behave. There was a study being done to test the chicken's behavior.

Here is how it goes:
Firstly, take a chalk and draw a straight line on the floor. Then, push the chicken's head to the ground so that its eyes focus exactly right at the line that you draw. Apparently though, it will automatically stay focus at the line on the ground, with its head being laid on the floor and just like, maybe, the picture as shown on the above? Amazing??.......Try it to find out.... :)

Is this what humanity is evolving into?

Is this what humanity is evolving into? As you can see, this is the consequence that you get or may get if you accidentally parked wrongly at a supposed to be someone else's parking lot.

Well, firstly let's evaluate on the situation. Put yourself at the owner's point of view. When you see someone else's car is being parked at your's, of course you are disappointed and be filled with rage at that point of time. However, would you actually start think, maybe, cause 'vandalism' towards other people's property?? I don't think so...speaking at a sound person's mind that such act only leads to only one word that best describes the behavior if it is being executed, that is.... 'uncivilized'.

Being the victim of such an act, I was frenzied the first instance when I found that my rear wiper has been deliberately being 'ripped off'. Thoughts ran through my head, analyzing the situation and placing myself like a detective at crime scene, putting the puzzle back to place, such as me being mistaken for identity by others and so on and so forth. Nevertheless still, the outcome was obvious, it boils back down to the fact that I parked wrongly at someone else's allocated parking lot, and that equals to only one obvious possibility, the owner.

Do not misunderstand that I cannot forgive the person who is responsible for this. I do hope and pray that one day, he will find the way of life to know God and be saved.

Isaiah 55:7
7 let the wicked forsake his way, and the unrighteous man his thoughts; and let him return to Yahweh, and he will have mercy on him; and to our God, for he will abundantly pardon.

'Sisterly Love' in the air??

Lately, a new kind of sisterly love seems to be in the air. In the past few years, Sex and the City's Cynthia Nixon left a boyfriend after a decade and a half and started dating a woman (and talked openly about it).

Actress Lindsay Lohan and DJ Samantha Ronson flaunted their relationship from New York to Dubai. Katy Perry's song "I Kissed a Girl" topped the charts. "The L Word," "Work Out," and "Top Chef" are featuring gay women on TV, and there's even talk of a lesbian reality show in the works.

Certainly nothing is new about women having sex with women, but we've arrived at a moment in the popular culture when it all suddenly seems almost fashionable -- or at least, acceptable.

Statistics on how many women have traded boyfriends and husbands for girlfriends are hard to come by. Although the U.S. Census Bureau keeps track of married, divorced, single, and even same-sex partners living together, it doesn't look for the stories behind those numbers.

But experts like Binnie Klein, a Connecticut-based psychotherapist and lecturer in Yale's department of psychiatry, agree that alternative relationships are on the rise.

"It's clear that a change in sexual orientation is imaginable to more people than ever before, and there's more opportunity -- and acceptance -- to cross over the line," says Klein, noting that a half-dozen of her married female patients in the past few years have fallen in love with women. "Most are afraid that if they don't go for it, they'll end up with regrets."

Feminist philosopher Susan Bordo, Ph.D, a professor of English and gender and women's studies at the University of Kentucky and author of "Unbearable Weight: Feminism, Western Culture, and the Body," also agrees that in the current environment, more women may be stepping out of the conventional gender box.
"When a taboo is lifted or diminished, it's going to leave people freer to pursue things," she says.

"So it makes sense that we would see women, for all sorts of reasons, walking through that door now that the culture has cracked it open. Of course, we shouldn't imagine that we're living in a world where all sexual choices are possible. Just look at the cast of 'The L Word' and it's clear that only a certain kind of lesbian -- slim and elegant or butch in just the right androgynous way -- is acceptable to mainstream culture."
That said, of the recent high-profile cases, it's Cynthia Nixon's down-to-earth attitude that may have blazed a trail for many women. In 1998, when "Sex and the City" debuted on HBO, she was settled in a long-term relationship with Danny Mozes, an English professor, with whom she had two children.

They hadn't gotten married: "I was wary of it and felt like it was potentially a trap, so I steered clear of it," Nixon said in an interview with London's Daily Mirror.

In 2004, after ending her 15-year relationship with Mozes, Nixon began seeing Christine Marinoni, at the time a public school advocate whom she'd met while working on a campaign to reduce class sizes in New York City. Marinoni was a great support when the actress was diagnosed with breast cancer.

Far from hiding the relationship, Nixon has spoken freely in TV and newspaper interviews about it not being a big deal.

"I have been with men all my life and had never met a woman I had fallen in love with before," she told the Daily Mirror. "But when I did, it didn't seem so strange. It didn't change who I am. I'm just a woman who fell in love with a woman." Oprah.com: Cynthia Nixon's new life

Over the past several decades, scientists have struggled in fits and starts to get a handle on sexual orientation. Born or bred? Can it change during one's lifetime?

A handful of studies in the 1990s, most of them focused on men, suggested that homosexuality is hardwired. In one study, researchers linked DNA markers in the Xq28 region of the X chromosome to gay males. But a subsequent larger study failed to replicate the results, leaving the American Academy of Pediatrics and the American Psychological Association to speculate that sexual orientation probably has multiple causes, including environmental, cognitive, and biological factors.

Today, however, a new line of research is beginning to approach sexual orientation as much less fixed than previously thought, especially when it comes to women. The idea that human sexuality forms a continuum has been around since 1948, when Alfred Kinsey introduced his famous seven-point scale, with zero representing complete heterosexuality, 6 signifying complete homosexuality, and bisexuality in the middle, where many of the men and women he interviewed fell.

The new buzz phrase coming out of contemporary studies is "sexual fluidity."

"People always ask me if this research means everyone is bisexual. No, it doesn't," says Lisa Diamond, Ph.D, associate professor of psychology and gender studies at the University of Utah and author of the 2008 book "Sexual Fluidity: Understanding Women's Love and Desire."

"Fluidity represents a capacity to respond erotically in unexpected ways due to particular situations or relationships. It doesn't appear to be something a woman can control."

Furthermore, studies indicate that it's more prevalent in women than in men, according to Bonnie Zylbergold, assistant editor of American Sexuality, an online magazine.

In a 2004 landmark study at Northwestern University, the results were eye-opening. During the experiment, the female subjects became sexually aroused when they viewed heterosexual as well as lesbian erotic films. This was true for both gay and straight women.

Among the male subjects, however, the straight men were turned on only by erotic films with women, the gay ones by those with men.

"We found that women's sexual desire is less rigidly directed toward a particular sex, as compared with men's, and it's more changeable over time," says the study's senior researcher, J. Michael Bailey, Ph.D. "These findings likely represent a fundamental difference between men's and women's brains."

This idea, that the libido can wander back and forth between genders, Diamond admits, may be threatening and confusing to those with conventional beliefs about sexual orientation.

But when the women she's interviewed explain their feelings, it doesn't sound so wild. Many of them say, for example, they are attracted to the person, and not the gender -- moved by traits like kindness, intelligence, and humor, which could apply to a man or a woman.

Most of all, they long for an emotional connection. And if that comes by way of a female instead of a male, the thrill may override whatever heterosexual orientation they had.

Definition of Love

Never knew the definition of love.

Love portrays complication.

Until you made me realized...

You, defined love.

When you have to look away

When you don’t know what to say

[Each time we quarrel, the cold fights we would have]

That's when I love you,

I love you, just that way.

To hear you stumble when you speak

[The first time you told me: "I love you"],

To see you smile for what I've did,

That's when I love you,

I love you, endlessly

And when you're mad with all your friends

Forget I’m waiting alone in pain

Baby I love you,

I love you anyway

Here's my promise made tonight

You can count "on" me for life

That’s when i love you

When nothing you do can change my mind

The more I learn, The more I love

The more my heart can’t get enough

That’s when I love you,

When I love you no matter what

So when you turn to hide your eyes

Cause our quarrel it made you cry

That’s when I love you

I love you a little more each time

And when you can’t quite match your clothes

Or when you laugh at your own jokes

That’s when I love you

I love you, more than you'll know

And when you forget that we had a date

Or that look that you get when you show up late

Baby I love you,

I love you anyway!

That’s when I love you,

When I love you no matter what...

GOOD FridAy

To some of the people , Good Friday is just another holiday or another normal day.But for me , since i was young i alwayz look forward for it to rain in the afternoon.

There is a saying that on Good Friday , there is sure rain in the afteroon. My mom told me when i was young that God is crying for the death of His son Jesus. No matter how hot the day is, it will surely rain.....Lets see if there is rain today ....? ok :-)

At the mean time , let me tell u all about Good Friday .............................
Good Friday, also called Holy Friday, Great Friday or Black Friday, is a religious holiday observed primarily by adherents to Christianity commemorating the crucifixion of Jesus and his death at Golgotha.

Based on the scriptural details of the Sanhedrin Trial of Jesus, the Crucifixion of Jesus was most probably on a Friday. The exact year of Good Friday has been estimated as AD 33, by two different groups, and originally as AD 34 by Isaac Newton via the differences between the Biblical and Julian calendars and the crescent of the moon.

According to the New Testament, Jesus was arrested in the Garden of Gethsemane by the Temple Guards through the guidance of his disciple, Judas Iscariot. Judas received money and betraying Jesus. He told the guards that whomever he kisses is the one they are to arrest. Jesus is brought to the house of Annas, who is the father-in-law of the current high priest, Caiaphas.

There he is interrogated with little result, and sent bound to Caiaphas the high priest, where the Sanhedrin had assembled (John 18:1-24).

Conflicting testimony against Jesus is brought forth by many witnesses, to which Jesus answers nothing. Finally the high priest adjures Jesus to respond under solemn oath, saying "I adjure you, by the Living God, to tell us, are you the Anointed One, the Son of God?" Jesus testifies in the affirmative, "You have said it, and in time you will see the Son of Man seated at the right hand of the Almighty, coming on the clouds of Heaven." The high priest condemns Jesus for blasphemy, and the Sanhedrin Trial of Jesus concurs with a sentence of death (Matthew 26:57-66).

Peter also denies Jesus three times during the interrogations. Jesus already knew that Peter would deny him three times. In the morning, the whole assembly brings Jesus to the Roman governor Pontius Pilate, under charges of subverting the nation, opposing taxes to Caesar, and making himself a king (Luke 23:1-2).
Pilate authorizes the Jewish leaders to judge Jesus according to their own Law and execute sentencing, however the Jewish leaders reply that they are not allowed by the Romans to carry out a sentence of death (John 18:31).

Pilate questions Jesus, and tells the assembly that there is no basis for sentencing. Upon learning that Jesus is from Galilee, Pilate refers the case to the ruler of Galilee, King Herod, who was in Jerusalem for the Passover Feast. Herod questions Jesus but receives no answer; Herod sends Jesus back to Pilate. Pilate tells the assembly that neither he nor Herod have found guilt in Jesus; Pilate resolves to have Jesus whipped and released (Luke 23:3-16).

It was a custom during the feast of Passover for the Romans to release one prisoner as requested by the Jews. Pilate asks the crowd who they would like to be released. Under the guidance of the chief priests, the crowd asks for Barabbas, who had been imprisoned for committing murder during an insurrection. Pilate asks what they would have him do with Jesus, and they demand, "Crucify him" (Mark 15:6-14). Pilate's wife had seen Jesus in a dream earlier that day; she forewarns Pilate to "have nothing to do with this righteous man" (Matthew 27:19).

Pilate has Jesus flogged, then brings him out to the crowd to release him. The chief priests inform Pilate of a new charge, demanding Jesus be sentenced to death "because he claimed to be God's son." This possibility filled Pilate with fear, and he brought Jesus back inside the palace and demanded to know from where he came (John 19:1-9).

Coming before the crowd one last time, Pilate declares Jesus innocent, washing his own hands in water to show he has no part in this condemnation. Nevertheless, Pilate hands Jesus over to be crucified in order to forestall a riot (Matthew 27:24-26). The sentence written is "Jesus of Nazareth, King of the Jews." Jesus carries his cross to the site of execution (assisted by Simon of Cyrene), called the place of the Skull, or "Golgotha" in Hebrew and in Latin "Calvary". There he is crucified along with two criminals (John 19:17-22).

Jesus agonizes on the cross for six hours. During his last 3 hours on the cross, from noon to 3pm, there is darkness over the whole land. With a loud cry, Jesus gives up his spirit. There is an earthquake, tombs break open, and the curtain in the Temple is torn from top to bottom. The centurion on guard at the site of crucifixion declares, "Truly this was God's Son!" (Matthew 27:45-54)

Joseph of Arimathea, a member of the Sanhedrin and secret follower of Jesus, who had not consented to his condemnation, goes to Pilate to request the body of Jesus (Luke 23:50-52). Pilate asks confirmation from the centurion whether Jesus is dead (Mark 15:44). A soldier pierced the side of Jesus with a lance causing blood and water to flow out (John 19:34), and the centurion informs Pilate that Jesus is dead (Mark 15:45).

Joseph of Arimathea takes the body of Jesus, wraps it in a clean linen shroud, and places it in his own new tomb that had been carved in the rock (Matthew 27:59-60) in a garden near the site of crucifixion. Another secret follower of Jesus and member of the Sanhedrin named Nicodemus (John 3:1) also came bringing 75 pounds of myrrh and aloes, and places them in the linen with the body of Jesus, according to Jewish burial customs (John 19:39-40).

They rolled a large rock over the entrance of the tomb (Matthew 27:60). Then they returned home and rested, because at sunset began Shabbat (Luke 23:54-56).

On the third day, Sunday, which is now known as Easter Sunday (or Pascha), Jesus rose from the dead.

ReAsOn To LoVE

A blind boy sat on the steps of a building with a hat by his feet. Heheld up a sign which said: 'I am blind, please help...' There wereonly a few coins in the hat.

A man was walking by. He took a few coins from his pocket and dropped them into the hat. He then took the sign, turned it around, and wrote some words.

He put the sign back so that everyone who walked by would see the new words.Soon the hat began to fill up. A lot more people were giving money to the blind boy. That afternoon the man who had changed the sign came to see how things were.

The boy recognized his footsteps and asked, 'Wereyou the one who changed my sign this morning? What did you write?

'The man said, 'I only wrote the truth. I said what you said but in a different way.'What he had written was:

'Today is a beautiful day and I cannot see it.

'Do you think the first sign and the second sign were saying the same thing?
Of course both signs told people the boy was blind. But the first sign simply said the boy was blind. The second sign told people they were so lucky that they were not blind.

Should we be surprised that the second sign was more effective? So lets us Be thankful for what you have. Be creative. Beinnovative. Think differently and positively.Invite others towards good with wisdom.
Live life with no excuse and love with no regrets. When life gives you a 100 reasons to cry, showlife that you have 1000 reasons to smile.

Face your past without regret. Handle your present with confidence. Prepare for the futurewithout fear. Keep the faith and drop the fear.Great men say, 'Life has to be an incessant process of repair andreconstruction, of discarding evil and developing goodness….

In the journey of life, if you want to travel without fear, you must have the ticket of a good conscience.'The most beautiful thing is to see a person smiling…And even more beautiful, knows that you are the reason behind it!!!

work or Sleep late .......

To those people who work late....or sleep late........>>>>>>>

Read the story no matter u like or dun like ghost story...makes you glued to your chair till the last sentence!...:-)
Prior to joining a new company, this guy A was working at boat quayarea. In those tall building offices like Maybank and such. His office was quite High up the level at least 30 and above.

Normally he will have to stay Back for OT and in the evening, all the lifts will be stopped due to security reasons.
Whenever he wanted to leave, he will need to call the old security uncle to activate the lift from ground floor to his level. Then the uncle will send the lift up..After sometime, he left the company and joined another place where his office also very high up in the building. Hence if do OT, also need to call uncle to send lift up.
Then it came the day that he's working OT for the first time at the new place. He stayed back till 12 plus am andwhen he's about to leave, he called! The security uncle to send the lift up.
After packing up he went to the lobby to wait for the lift.He waited and waited. 10 mins passed, Lift not up.
He waited for another10 mins and call the security uncle. S denotes security here.
A: Hello Uncle ah, have you send the lift up?

S: Yeah sent liao.A: No leh I been waiting for 20 mins liao leh
S: No meh? okie okie I send again.
Another 5 minutes went by. No lift came up. The guy got worried. He's the last person to leave and there's no one around. He called the uncleon his handphone again.
A: Er... Uncle ah, you sure you sent the lift up?
S: Yeah I sent it up twice liao leh.A: But I saw the lifts all on the first floor leh!
S: Aiyoh. Never mind. I take the lift up and look for you.
Again, A waited. 5 minutes passed but none of the lift are moving. Thensuddenly, his hp ring.
The uncle voice was on the other side of the linesounding very weird.
S: Where are you? ! I am here. But I cannot find you.

All this while A was staring at the display of the lifts. All at level1..... and the uncle is here.... shit something is not right.

A straight away chiong to the stairs and dashed down the building...When he reached ground level, he chiong to the security counter and he found out that.....................

……..

.......................

...........................................

...........................

He had actually called the old security uncle in the building of his ex-company and not the security uncle of his new office -_-

He work till siao liao and was damn blur. Feeling very pai seh, he also never call back to explain to the security uncle from the building of his ex-company.Blur cock and poor uncle.
He must be the one who actually freaked out going all the way up and saw no one there...hahaha
Moral of the story - dun work till become like sotong.... :P

"Globalized"

Working for Swedish company such as Volvo..... Working for them has proven to be an interesting experience. Any project there takes 2 years to be finalized, even if the idea is simple and brilliant.

It's a rule.Globalized processes have caused in us (all over the world) a general sense of searching for immediate results.. Therefore, we have come to posses a need to see immediate results. This contrasts greatly with the slow movements of the Swedish. They, on the other hand, debate, debate, debate, hold x quantity of meetings and work with a slowdown scheme. At the end, this always yields better results.

In other words:
1. Sweden has 2 million inhabitants.
2. Stockholm has 500,000 people.
3. Volvo, Escania, Ericsson, Electrolux, is some of its renowned companies. (Volvo even supplies NASA)

The first time in Sweden, one of my frens colleagues picked him up at the hotel every morning. It was September, bit cold and snowy. They would arrive early at the company and they would park far away from the entrance (2000 employees drive their car to work).
The first day, my fren didn't say anything, neither the second or third days.
One morning he asked the swedish guy, "Do you have a fixed parking space?
"I've noticed we park far from the entrance even when there are no other cars in the lot"."To which the swidish guy replied, "Since we're here early we'll have time to walk, don't you think that whoever gets in late will need a place closer to the door?"

Nowadays, there's a movement in Europe named Slow Food. This movement establishes that people should eat and drink slowly, with enough time to taste their food, spend time with the family, friends, without rushing. Slow Food is against its counterpart, Fast Food and what it stands for as a lifestyle.
Slow Food is the basis for a bigger movement called Slow Europe, as mentioned by Business Week.Basically, the movement questions the sense of "hurry" and "craziness" generated by globalization, fuelled by the desire of "having in quantity" (life status) versus "having with quality", "life quality" or the "quality of being".

French people, even though they work 35 hours per week, are more productive than Americans or British. Germans have established 28.8 hour workweeks and have seen their productivity been driven up by 20%..This slow attitude has come to the notice of USA, the pupils of the fast and "do it now" brigade.
This no-rush attitude doesn't represent doing less or having a lower productivity
It means working and doing things with greater quality, productivity, perfection, with attention to detail and less stress.
It means re-establishing family values, friends, free and leisure time. Taking the "now", present and concrete, versus the "global", undefined and anonymous.
It means taking humans' essential values, the simplicity of living.
It stands for a less coercive work environment, more happy, lighter and more productive work place where humans enjoy doing what they know best how to do.

It's time to stop and think on how companies need to develop serious quality with no-rush that will increase productivity and the quality of products and services, without losing the essence. In the movie, 'Scent of a Woman', there's a scene where Al Pacino asks a girl to dance and she replies, "I can't, my boyfriend will be here any minute now". To which Al responds, "A life is lived in an instant". Then they dance the tango.
Many of us live our lives running behind time, but we only reach it when we die of a heart attack or in a car accident rushing to be on time.

Others are so anxious to live for the future that they forget to live the present, which is the only time that truly exists. We all have equal time throughout the world. No one has more or less. The difference lies in how each one of us does with our time. We need to live each moment.

As John Lennon said, "Life is what happens to you while you're busy making other plans".Congratulations for reading this post till the end of this message.
There are many who will have stopped in the middle so as not to waste time in this "Globalized" world.

WorTh reAdinG 2

Continuation of the worth reading 1
**_ANSWER_**_:_***

The husband just said **_'I am with you Darling'_**.
The husband's totally unexpected reaction is a proactive behavior. The child is dead. He can never be brought back to life.

* *There is no point in finding fault with the mother. Besides, if only he had taken time to keep the bottle away, this would not have happened. No one is to be blamed. She had also lost her only child. What she needed at that moment was consolation and sympathy from the husband. That is what he gave her.

* **If everyone can look at life with this kind of perspective, there would be much fewer problems in the world. 'A journey of a thousand miles begins with a single step.' Take off all your envies, jealousies, un-forgiveness, selfishness, and fears. And you will find things are actually not as difficult as you think.

*** **_MORAL OF THE STORY_** **

This story is really worth reading. Sometimes we spend time in asking who is responsible or whom to blame, whether in a relationship, in a job or with the people we know.
By this way we miss out some warmth in human relationship.

hehe....let us think about this .....

*******Have a blessed day ……………

Worth reading

A story.........
A boy was born to a couple after eleven years of marriage. They were a loving couple and the boy was the gem of their eyes. When the boy was around two years old, one morning the husband saw a medicine bottle open. He was late for office so he asked his wife to cap the bottle and keep it in the cupboard.

His wife, was preoccupied in the kitchen totally forgot the matter. The boy saw the bottle and playfully went to the bottle fascinated by its color and drank it all. It happened to be a poisonous medicine meant for adults in small dosages. When the child collapsed the mother hurried him to the hospital.
He died. The mother was stunned. She was terrified how she was going to face her husband. When the distraught father came to the hospital and saw the dead child, he looked at his wife and uttered just five words.
*_QUESTIONS:_*__***

WOW....Belive it or NoT

Please note that another name for Lady Finger (Bhindi ) is " OKURA ".

I came across this article where they talk about treatment of Sugar (Diabetes). So since Malaysia like their nasi lemak ,rendang,"oil fried ghost"(yao cha kuai),santan and etc i became very interested in this article.

There was a testimony giver who is diabetic, and he tried it and it was very useful and his Sugar is in control now.
In fact he has already reduced his medicine. How he did it.....?

  1. Well Take two pieces of Lady Finger (Bhindi) and remove/cut both ends of each piece.
  2. Also put a small cut in the middle and put these two pieces in glass of water.
  3. Cover the glass and keep it at room temperature during night.
  4. Early morning, before breakfast simply remove two pieces of lady finger (bhindi) from the glass and drink that water.

Keep doing it on daily basis.

Within two weeks, you will see remarkable results in reduction of your SUGAR.

There was a woman has got rid of her diabetes. Before this She was on Insulin for a few years, but after taking the lady fingers every morning for a few months, she has stopped Insulin but continues to take the lady fingers every day.

But she chops the lady fingers into fine pieces in the night, adds the water and drinks it all up the next morning.

Please. try it as it will not do you any harm even if it does not do much good to you, but U have to keep taking it for a few months before U see results, as most cases might be chronic. :-)

M.C.I.S

Do u guys ever hear about M.C.I.S .......? now better knowed as MCIS ZURICH (www.mciszurich.com.my) .It is one of the Malaysian Insurance power house :-)

actually i am here not to tell u about insurance, i am not an insurance agent for your information . So dont worry ya ..... let me tell u wat is M.C.I.S stands for :

A married couple is driving along a highway doing a steady forty kilometer Per hour.
The wife is behind the wheel. Her husband suddenly looks across ather and speaks in a clear voice."Darling," he says. "I know we've been married for twenty years, but I want a divorce." The wife says nothing, keeps looking at the road ahead butslowly increases her speed to 70 kph.
The husband speaks again."I don't want you to try and talk me out of it", he says, "because I've beenhaving an affair with your best friend, and she's a far better lover thanyou are." Again the wife stays quiet, but grips the steering wheel moretightly and slowly increases the speed to 90 kph.
He pushes his luck. "I want the house," he says insistently. Up to 120kph."I want the car, too," he continues. 130 kph. "And," he says, "I'll havethe bank accounts, all the credit cards and the boat."The car slowly starts veering towards a massive concrete bridge.
This makes him a wee bit nervous, so he asks her: "Isn't there anything youwant?"The wife at last replies - in a quiet and controlled voice. "No, I'vegot everything I need." she says.Oh, really?" he inquires, "So what have you got?"Just before they slam into the wall at 145 kph, the wife turns to himand smiles....."The airbag."....
Never underestimate how a woman thinks.
Moral of the story:Buy Toyota VIOS as it has only one airbag (for driver only). The husband sure die and wife gets everything! So, for a husband don't buy a Vios today.... :)
Husbands, pls take insurance! But.. Think twice for MCIS insurance.Know why?
